Grateful for Every “I Do”

Celebrating Our First Year as a New Wedding Venue in Minneapolis

As we wrapped up 2025 and reached the end of our very first year hosting weddings and events, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. Opening our doors as a new wedding venue in Minneapolis was both exciting and extremely humbling, and this year quickly became about far more than just launching a space. It was about people, couples who trusted us from the very beginning, families who gathered here to celebrate love, and vendors across the Twin Cities who helped bring every vision to life.

To everyone who believed in us during our inaugural year, thank you. This first chapter would not have been possible without you.

2025: Our First Year as a New Wedding Venue in Minneapolis

Launching a wedding venue comes with a steep learning curve, and our first year taught us more than we could have imagined. From our very first wedding, we were reminded just how meaningful these days are, not only for couples, but for everyone who loves them.

As a new wedding venue in the Twin Cities, we were honored by the trust placed in us. Couples chose White & Sable without years of history or a long list of past weddings to reference. Instead, they gambled on our renderings, and they believed in the vision, the experience, and the heart behind what we were building. That trust shaped everything we did.

Each wedding helped us refine our process, improve the experience, and better understand what couples truly need on such an important day. More than anything, our first year affirmed why we started this journey: to create a Minneapolis wedding venue that feels welcoming, intentional, and deeply personal. We loved doing it with you.

The Couples Who Took a Chance on a New Twin Cities Wedding Venue

One of the most meaningful parts of our first year was the couples who chose us knowing we were brand new. These founding couples didn’t just celebrate their weddings here, they helped define who we are as a venue.

Spring Beginnings

Our spring weddings felt symbolic in every way. Fresh starts, emotional ceremonies, and the quiet excitement of something new filled the space. Minnesota Springs can be unpredictable, but even the weather cooperated with us for a few April courtyard ceremonies. Seeing that ceremony space come to life just as we dreamt it was especially memorable.  Couples like Bekah and Austin reminded us how powerful it is to begin a marriage surrounded by intentional beauty and the people who matter most.

Summer Celebrations

Summer brought energy, laughter, and full dance floors. We watched Alex and Cole transform their reception into a joyful celebration that lasted long into the night, ending with a last dance for just the two of them. These weddings showed us just how vibrant and fun a Minneapolis wedding venue can feel when a space is filled with love and community.

Fall Romance

As the seasons shifted, fall weddings brought warmth, rich color palettes, and deeply meaningful moments. Thoughtful details and heartfelt toasts defined this season. Cyann and Jackson showed us how even the largest celebrations can feel intimate and personal.

Every couple brought their own traditions, priorities, and personalities, leaving a lasting impression on our space. These weddings weren’t just milestones for the couples, they were foundational moments for us as a new Twin Cities wedding venue celebrating fall together in our space for the very first time.

Winter Sparkle

While winter celebrations were fewer, they were no less meaningful. These weddings felt especially intimate, filled with candlelight, cozy details, and a sense of togetherness that only winter brings. Couples like Katie and Justin embraced the season, proving that winter weddings in Minneapolis can be just as warm, romantic, and unforgettable. These days reminded us that love shines brightest, no matter the season.

Built With Community: Thank You to Our Twin Cities Vendor Partners

Our first year would not have been possible without the incredible community of wedding professionals throughout Minneapolis and the Twin Cities. From day one, vendors showed up with professionalism, creativity, and generosity, often going above and beyond to support and offer grace to us as a brand-new venue.

To the planners and coordinators who kept wedding days running smoothly, thank you for trusting a new Minneapolis wedding venue and guiding couples with confidence and care.

To the photographers and videographers who captured every tear, laugh, and quiet moment, thank you for seeing the beauty in this space and sharing it so thoughtfully with the world.

To the florists, rental companies, caterers, DJs, musicians, and bakers, your talent transformed ideas into unforgettable experiences. You elevated every celebration and helped ensure our couples felt completely taken care of.

To our exclusive beverage partner, Liquid Motion, Chelsie, and her team for their outstanding service and savvy mobile bar options. Their attention to detail and professionalism helped make every celebration seamless and unforgettable, and we are so grateful to have had them as part of our first year.

Launching as a new wedding venue in the Twin Cities truly took a village, and we are deeply grateful for every vendor who helped build this first year with us.

Moments From Our First Year We’ll Never Forget

Some moments will stay with us forever:

  • Opening the doors for our Grand Opening; getting to meet so many of you who trusted us and came to see it all come to life.

  • Seeing our first group of groomsmen relaxing in the groom’s lounge before the busyness of the day took over: TVs on, video games going, and laughter filling the room.

  • Having the Walter Cup in the house for Maddie and Carson’s iconic celebration.

  • Spending New Years Eve with Taylor and Blaze

These are the moments that remind us why weddings are so unique, and why this first year will always hold a special place in our hearts.
